Kate Lee has more than fifteen years of experience in applying economic principles and empirical analysis to evaluate antitrust and breach of contract claims. Dr. Lee has consulted extensively on high-stakes litigation disputes involving issues related to class certification, liability, and damages. She has managed large case teams and worked with testifying experts on a number of antitrust matters involving claims of price fixing and attempted monopolization. She also has experience analyzing the competitive effects of proposed mergers and in intellectual property matters.

Dr. Lee has consulted on cases in a variety of industries, including microprocessors, plastics additives, rubber processing chemicals, carbon black, fiberglass insulation, urological catheters, blood plasma collection products, transparent tape, smokeless tobacco, and gasoline.

Prior to joining Cornerstone Research, Dr. Lee was an economist at LECG for more than twelve years, serving as a principal for the past three years. Prior to that, Dr. Lee was an economist at Capital Economics and also was a consultant at the Office of the Virginia Attorney General.
