Brad Johnson applies economic and financial analysis to issues arising in all phases of complex commercial litigation. He has several years of experience consulting on aspects of antitrust, securities, and contractual matters across healthcare, insurance, financial institutions, telecommunications, and high-technology industries. He has managed large consulting teams supporting multiple testifying experts and is experienced at preparing experts for deposition and trial testimony.
Within the healthcare industry, Mr. Johnson has analyzed issues of competition and economic damages related to insurance plans, hospitals, surgical centers, and pharmaceutical companies. He also has worked on matters related to cost shifting between public and private payer patients in the hospital industry. In the financial services sector, Mr. Johnson has worked on matters involving unsecured credit products, asset-backed securities, and deposit products, including issues of credit quality, portfolio performance, and pricing.
Before joining Cornerstone Research, Mr. Johnson led economic consulting teams as a manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Previously, Mr. Johnson developed market research in the healthcare insurance industry for Premera Blue Cross and acted as an internal strategic development consultant for Wajax.
