Darwin Neher specializes in applying economic, financial, and econometric analyses to issues arising in complex litigation. He has led large teams engaged in class certification, liability, and damages analyses in cases spanning multiple practices and industries. Dr. Neher’s antitrust experience includes price-fixing, tying, and monopolization cases in industries such as payment cards, professional services, construction, energy, and healthcare. His labor and employment experience includes discrimination and wrongful termination cases in industries such as financial services and commodities trading. He also has conducted valuation and other related analyses in intellectual property, breach-of-contract, and securities cases in industries, including Internet commerce, consumer products, insurance, energy, hedge funds, and recorded music.
Prior to joining Cornerstone Research, Dr. Neher served on the faculty of the School of Management at Boston University. His research has been published in the Review of Economic Studies and the European Economic Review.
