Karin Tuerlinckx specializes in applying economic analysis to antitrust and intellectual property litigation issues, and has experience in energy and international trade litigation.
Dr. Tuerlinckx’s antitrust experience includes analyzing economic issues pertaining to mergers, monopolization, slotting allowances, and price fixing. She has also worked extensively on issues pertaining to vertical restraints, including tying, exclusive dealing, and franchise agreements. In addition, Dr. Tuerlinckx has consulted and supported testifying experts in intellectual property matters, including damages claims for matters of patent, trade secret, trademark, and copyright infringement. Her work has involved many industries, including pharmaceuticals and medical devices, telecommunications, computer software and hardware, energy, and consumer products. Before joining Cornerstone Research, Dr. Tuerlinckx worked as an economist at Charles River Associates, Inc. in its competition practice. Back to Senior Staff list
