Lori Benson has extensive experience in securities class-action litigation. Having consulted on more than a hundred securities cases, she has handled all aspects of securities litigation, including class certification, loss causation, damages estimation, settlement arbitration, and trial. She has been involved in many of the largest class actions in recent history, including cases with alleged damages in the tens of billions of dollars.
With more than fifteen years of experience, Ms. Benson has consulted on a wide variety of securities and valuation issues such as market manipulation, trademark infringement, brand valuation, employee compensation packages, portfolio performance, insider trading, and breach of contract. Ms. Benson is experienced at managing large teams while supporting multiple experts.
Prior to joining Cornerstone Research, Ms. Benson was a management consultant in the financial institutions practice of Booz Allen Hamilton. She was also an analyst with Citibank's Global Trade Finance group where she evaluated internal exposure to cross-border risk.Back to Senior Staff list
