Overview

Cornerstone Research has worked with clients on a range of complex criminal and civil government enforcement and white collar matters involving companies and individuals. We have experience analyzing these matters in securities, accounting, tax, corporate governance, and antitrust and competition cases across many industries, including energy, financial institutions, high technology, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare. This experience, combined with our extensive network of in-house, academic, and industry experts, enables us to analyze liability and compliance processes and causation and damages issues in these high-stakes investigations and actions.

We have addressed a range of white collar issues, including allegations of securities fraud, insider trading, disclosure misrepresentations and omissions, anticompetitive behavior, market timing and manipulation, and inappropriate executive compensation and tax claims, as well as actions brought under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Sarbanes-Oxley, and the Commodities Exchange Act.
