San Francisco Bay Area Women’s Forum 2019: Creating a Culture of Courageous Conversations

Cornerstone Research hosted “Brave Voices: Creating a Culture of Courageous Conversations,” a networking event featuring Professor Michelle Buck of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Cornerstone Research hosted its seventh annual networking event for San Francisco Bay Area professional women working in the legal field. Professor Michelle Buck, the Clinical Professor of Leadership at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, was the evening’s featured speaker.

As Professor Buck explains, thriving teams depend on individuals who speak up. When people believe their opinions count, in both professional and personal contexts, they tend to be more engaged and productive. How can we foster courageous conversations—with colleagues, family members, and friends—and develop the confidence to say what needs to be said?

Professor Buck shared insights on how we can find our voices, offering practical steps to “encourage courage,” build a culture of brave voices, and maximize performance and fulfillment across all areas of our lives.
