An inventor of a board game sued Hasbro for antitrust violations, claiming that Hasbro interfered with the plaintiff’s efforts to sell its game to the major retail chains. Cornerstone Research worked with an economics expert and marketing professor Carol Scott of the University of California, Los Angeles, to rebut the plaintiff’s narrow definition of the relevant market and its allegations that Hasbro had exercised market power.

After both sides submitted expert reports and deposition testimony, the complaint was dismissed.
