Iron Oak Energy Solutions, a leading North American proppant supplier, announced its intent to acquire Signal Peak Silica LLC in November 2024. Counsel for Iron Oak retained Joseph Podwol of Cornerstone Research to provide economic analysis and guidance during the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) waiting period.
In June 2026, the deal was cleared without a second request.
