2024 Florence Digitalisation Summer Conference

Gregor Langus will speak on a panel titled “Generative AI and Sector-Regulation of Digital Platforms” at this two-day event in Florence.

The emergence of generative artificial intelligence (AI) has prompted a policy debate over the regulatory and antitrust challenges ahead of the AI revolution.

Panelists will address the following key topics:

  • The impact of generative AI on business models and competitive dynamics in digital and nondigital markets
  • Regulatory challenges arising in response to the AI revolution
  • Anticompetitive behaviors that AI may foster, and how competition authorities can detect such practices

This event is hosted by the European University Institute’s Centre for a Digital Society, in collaboration with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). For more information, visit the event website.
