Brian Fryd of Cornerstone Research will join securities experts on a panel focused on investors’ rights in U.S. capital markets.
On a panel titled, “Exercising Investors Rights in U.S. Capital Markets and Enforcing Shareholder Rights Under Delaware Law: What All International Lawyers Need to Know,” speakers will explore asset recovery and protection in the context of investor rights. Key topics will include:
- Fundamentals of U.S. shareholder litigation
- A review of U.S. securities laws
- The evolution of investors’ rights, including the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act (PSLRA) of 1995
Panelists will also address the role of institutional investors, and the importance of Delaware law in enforcing shareholder rights within U.S. corporate and securities law.
