Celeste Saravia and Christopher Lau of Cornerstone Research will join multiple panels on day one of this two-day conference in San Francisco.
Dr. Saravia will join government representatives and attorneys for a panel titled “Monopolization and Litigation,” focusing on methods for defining and measuring monopolistic harm, single-firm conduct, and the meaning of exclusionary conduct. Other key topics will include the role of structural versus behavioral remedies and how recent cases may affect future antitrust enforcement.
Dr. Lau will join a session titled “Healthcare Panel” to examine ongoing pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) scrutiny and updates from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). The session will also explore ongoing government scrutiny of healthcare mergers and antitrust labor concerns within the healthcare industry.
