Joanna Tsai will join a panel of attorneys to discuss the future of antitrust at this annual conference in Washington, DC.

As part of a panel titled, “Looking Forward: What’s Ahead for Antitrust in 2024?” speakers will discuss the proposed new merger guidelines from the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Key topics will include the prospects for final merger guidelines and how potential revisions may reflect the extensive comments the agencies have received.

Speakers will consider how the new merger guidelines may affect the agencies’ policy priorities. In addition, they will assess how the new guidelines may influence acquisition strategies, investments in start-ups, and the future of innovation.
