Firm’s summer analyst program recognized for excellent training opportunities and supportive culture.

San Francisco—Career information provider Vault-Firsthand has ranked Cornerstone Research’s summer analyst program in the Top 15 of its 2023 Best Consulting Internships, based on a recent survey of thousands of summer interns across multiple industries.

Cornerstone Research’s summer internship program introduces high-performing undergraduate students to economics consulting work. Participants join case teams that typically include an academic or industry expert, senior consultants, and analysts. Summer analysts make important contributions, including both quantitative and qualitative analyses, and are provided with substantial learning and development opportunities, including mentoring and feedback.

“It’s rewarding to have talented students recognize our firm as a great place to learn about a career in consulting,” noted Yesim Richardson, the firm’s president.

“Cornerstone Research strives to provide solid training and guidance for our summer analysts along with a positive and inclusive firm culture,” firm President Yesim Richardson said. “It’s rewarding to have talented students recognize our firm as a great place to learn about a career in consulting.”

One former intern told Vault-Firsthand: “The people at the firm are all incredible and have varying backgrounds in just about every field or industry.”

Of the work atmosphere, another summer participant said: “Firm culture is great—the analysts go out of their way to make the internship a fun experience. The firm also organizes tons of events and lunches for us and the whole office. [The] attitude within the firm is that people like coming into work in the morning, and it is a positive work environment.”

“Everyone here is highly intelligent, skilled at their job, and more importantly, supportive, and can provide you with plenty of tips and advice as you decide on your future career,” a Cornerstone Research summer analyst told Vault-Firsthand.
