Forbes partnered with Statista, a market research company, to create the list. Together they conducted two surveys, one of more than 1,100 partners and executives of management consulting firms, and the second of more than 1,200 clients who had worked with management consulting firms over the past four years. Respondents from both groups were asked to recommend consultancies within their areas of knowledge across a range of predetermined sectors and functional areas.
