Dr. Marietta-Westberg was invited to serve on the board of directors at the Institute for Law and Economics at the University of Pennsylvania.
New York—Jennifer Marietta-Westberg has joined the board of directors at the Institute for Law and Economics (ILE) at the University of Pennsylvania. A joint research center of the Law School, the Wharton School, and the department of economics at the University of Pennsylvania, ILE focuses on the significant role that economics plays in setting legal policy.
As a board member, Dr. Marietta-Westberg will support the Institute’s mission to advance cross-disciplinary research that analyzes the impact of law on the global economy. In addition, she will help to guide ILE programs throughout the year, including the Institute’s noted roundtables, panels, and conferences. Dr. Marietta-Westberg is a past ILE Roundtable commentator.
