Beverly Rich Ingersoll has more than fifteen years of experience in artificial intelligence (AI), law, and organizational strategy. Her expertise spans enterprise AI product leadership, empirical research on technology adoption and organizational performance, and legal practice, including work as a trial attorney.
Dr. Ingersoll is an adjunct professor at USC Gould School of Law, where she teaches courses on AI, data, and law.
As a member of Cornerstone Research’s Applied Research Center, Dr. Ingersoll supports the Center’s activities, products, and initiatives, with a focus on strategic R&D.
Dr. Ingersoll’s research on AI, innovation, and legal practice has appeared in the Journal of Law and Empirical Analysis, Organization Science, and Harvard Business Review, among other publications.
Before joining Cornerstone Research, Dr. Ingersoll served as a senior leader at a global legal services and consulting provider, overseeing enterprise AI and innovation strategy across product, engineering, security, and operations functions. Previously, she was Practice Innovation Counsel at Ogletree Deakins, focusing on AI product integration and firmwide governance.
Following her doctoral work, Dr. Ingersoll was an assistant professor of Entrepreneurship & Strategy at the University of Utah’s Eccles School of Business, where her research examined how advanced technologies affect innovation, organizational performance, and high-stakes professional services. She taught strategy, analytics, and innovation at the undergraduate, M.B.A., and executive education levels.
