Julia Reynolds is a financial economist specializing in market microstructure, financial market regulation, and issues involving retail and institutional investors. Dr. Reynolds has extensive experience conducting economic, statistical, and quantitative analyses related to execution quality, market transparency, individual and retail trader behavior, and the impact of institutional investors on financial market quality.

Prior to joining Cornerstone Research, Dr. Reynolds worked in the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis (DERA) at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where she conducted economic analyses to support rulemaking involving market microstructure, execution quality analysis, securities lending markets, and self-regulatory organizations.

Dr. Reynolds has presented her research at international conferences such as the SAFE Microstructure Conference and the Annual Hedge Fund Research Conference. Her research on hedge funds has won numerous awards, including the Best Paper Award at the Financial Management Association (FMA) Consortium on Institutional Investing and Hedge Funds.
