Elisa Mariscal and Jakub Chini of Cornerstone Research will join multiple sessions at this annual workshop in Prague.

The 2026 ICN Unilateral Conduct Workshop brings together competition authorities and economic and legal experts from around the world to examine competition policy developments and enforcement challenges.

On day one, Dr Chini will join a panel titled ‘Theories of Harm in Digital and Traditional Markets.’ Panellists will discuss the challenges and complexities of establishing theories of harm in digital and AI-driven markets. Other key topics will include effect-based cases, abusive conduct presumptions in both digital and traditional industries, and the assessment of ‘naked restrictions.’

Dr Mariscal will moderate a breakout session titled ‘Best Practices in Defining Relevant Markets’ on the second day of the workshop. This session will examine the economic factors that characterise relevant markets, including consumer loyalty and consumer behaviour patterns. Panellists will also address the evolving challenges associated with defining markets.

This event is hosted by the International Competition Network (ICN) and the Office for the Protection of Competition (ÚOHS). For more information, visit the event website.
