Jakub Chini analyzes competition issues arising in commercial and regulatory disputes. Dr. Chini consults on high-profile antitrust cases, in which he has quantified cartel follow-on damages and assessed allegations of abuse of dominance. His industry experience includes banking, electricity, retail markets, and transportation.
Dr. Chini teaches competition economics at Masaryk University. In that capacity, he has provided expert witness testimony in matters involving the railway and energy industries.
Before joining Cornerstone Research, Dr. Chini worked for economic consulting firms based in Europe. He has served as an internal economist for a Czech law firm, specializing in competition law.
