Anand Krishnamurthy will moderate a panel focused on how recent government policy and price-fixing cases in Europe and the U.S. are affecting drug pricing, innovation, and manufacturer market strategies.
26 March: “Family Feud: Antitrust Edition”
Joanna Tsai will join attorneys, economic experts, and government representatives for a “hot topics” discussion of pressing issues currently shaping the antitrust landscape.
26 March: “Healthcare Pricing Algorithms: Novel or Collusive?”
Dina Older Aguilar will speak on a panel examining emerging healthcare cases involving pricing algorithms. The discussion will center on the ethical duties of counsel and potential compliance strategies to deploy algorithms responsibly.
26 March: “Talent or Takeover? New Deals in Tech & AI”
Avigail Kifer will moderate a session on novel deal structures in technology and AI transactions. Panelists, including Professor Chiou, will analyze the pro- and anticompetitive effects of “reverse acquihires,” strategic investments, and other novel deal structures.
