Cornerstone Research presented its second forum for Los Angeles professional women working in the legal field. Professor Leigh Thompson, of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, spoke about “Gender and Negotiating: High-Performance Skills.” Professor Thompson also led an interactive session on how women can leverage their influence to strengthen business relationships.

Professor Leigh Thompson is the J. Jay Gerber Distinguished Professor of Dispute Resolution and Organizations at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. She focuses on negotiation skills and strategies, group decision-making, creativity, and analogical reasoning. A sought-after speaker, she has written nine books, and her research is regularly published in mainstream media and specialist journals.
