Craig Malam moderated a panel of attorneys and an academic economist at this webinar focused on labor issues arising in mergers.

Panelists examined key factors for parties to consider when assessing the potential effects of mergers on workers and content creators under the guidelines. In particular, they discussed how to treat potential mitigating effects, such as:

  • Savings via reduced headcount
  • How union bargaining power may affect the calculus
  • Potential nonmonetary benefits to workers
