Liam Colley of Cornerstone Research will speak on a panel titled ‘Examining the Role of Economic Experts in Collective Proceedings.’
Mr. Colley’s panel will examine the function of economists in collective proceedings, addressing the different functions that expert evidence plays in collective versus non-collective proceedings.
Panellists will also review recent guidance from the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) on the use of expert evidence, discuss the economic expert’s role in certification, and review key lessons from the use of economic experts in non-collective proceedings.
