Vikram Kumar of Cornerstone Research will join a panel titled ‘Discussing the Role of the CAT and Courts in DMCCA Enforcement’ at this one-day forum in London.
Dr Kumar’s panel will discuss ongoing enforcement of the UK’s Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act (DMCCA), examining whether private damages claims are an effective compliance tool compared to the Digital Market Unit’s (DMU’s) ‘light-touch’ approach.
Panellists will also consider the growing role of the courts and the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT), including the prospects for judicial review of regulatory decisions.
