Cornerstone Research was retained to support Aviv Nevo of the University of Pennsylvania and Kostis Hatzitaskos of Cornerstone Research in reviewing vertical issues regarding a proposed merger between an entertainment company and technology firm.
Professor Nevo and Dr. Hatzitaskos reviewed this merger and presented the findings in several jurisdictions.
- Professor Nevo presented white papers to the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), and the European Commission’s The Directorate-General for Competition (EC DG Comp);
- Dr. Hatzitaskos responded to multiple requests for information (RFIs) from the CMA and EC DG Comp
- Dr. Hatzitaskos assisted with regulatory work in Australia, Chile, Japan, South Africa, South Korea, and Turkey.
