Dr. Davis has extensive experience supporting clients through discovery, class certification, motion practice, merits, and trial preparation. Working with prominent academic and industry experts, Dr. Davis has consulted on matters in U.S. federal and state courts—including New York and California—and in Canada.

Dr. Davis has extensive experience in securities litigation involving Rule 10b-5 and Section 11/12 claims, where he addresses market efficiency, price impact, Comcast, loss causation, and damages issues. He has consulted on numerous cases involving preliminary assessments of class certification and merits strategies, damages exposure, and settlement benchmarking. His representative experience includes:
- Analyzing loss causation and damages in Strougo v. Tivity Health Inc. et al., in which the judge granted the defendants’ motion to exclude the plaintiff’s damages expert
- Evaluating negative causation issues in In re Cloudera Inc. Securities Litigation, a Section 11 California state court case in which the court granted summary judgment for the defendants
- Analyzing market efficiency for options at the class certification stage for securities class actions

Dr. Davis analyzes internal and market data across a range of other matters. He has consulted on issues related to antitrust claims in financial markets, banking matters, M&A, and allegations of market manipulation.
