Washington, DC—Global Competition Review (GCR) recognized Cornerstone Research for its economic support in Amazon’s $8.5 billion acquisition of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM).
Amazon/MGM won GCR’s 2023 award for Matter of the Year. The acquisition, first announced in May 2021, has been closely watched in litigation circles and widely covered by the mainstream media. This is the fifth consecutive year that GCR has honored Cornerstone Research for its economic support in high-profile matters with global impact.
Working on behalf of Amazon, Cornerstone Research supported the economic analyses of John Asker of the University of California, Los Angeles.
